When to book
- Your GP has given you a pathology request form
- You need fasting bloods taken first thing in the morning
- You are monitoring an ongoing condition

How collection works
- Your GP gives you a request form during your consultation.
- Take the form to our on-site collection room — no separate appointment needed for most tests.
- Your sample is sent to the laboratory the same day.
- Most results are back within 3 to 4 days and are sent to your GP.
- Book a follow-up consultation with your doctor to discuss them.
Common questions
Do I need to fast?
Some tests require fasting, usually for 8 to 12 hours. Your GP will tell you if fasting is needed, and it is also noted on your request form. Water is fine while fasting.
Can I get my results directly?
A follow-up consultation is required to discuss results. Our administration team cannot release results without the doctor’s approval. If you need a copy for a specialist appointment, contact the pathology provider directly.
