Mental Health Care Plans. A therapeutic journey often begins with your GP. Book a consultation to discuss a Mental Health Care Plan — eligible patients can access Medicare-rebated psychology sessions each calendar year. Referrals go directly to our on-site psychologist, and your records stay within the practice.

Desiree is our registered on-site psychologist, with over 20 years of experience in private psychiatric hospitals and private practice. She works with adults and young adults aged 15 and over, and is well versed in helping people with depression, anxiety and substance use problems, as well as supporting people through major life transitions and stressful life events. Desiree is committed to helping patients feel safe, earning their trust and assisting them to reach their goals. She has experience in a wide variety of therapeutic approaches supported by scientific research, which allows her to tailor a treatment program to each person’s needs.
Not to make an appointment — you can see the psychologist privately at any time. A Mental Health Care Plan from your GP gives you access to a Medicare rebate for a set number of sessions each calendar year, so it is usually worth booking with your GP first.
Yes. Your records are confidential and held within the practice. Information is only shared with your GP to support your care, or where disclosure is required by law — for example where there is a serious risk to safety.
